University Programs<\/h3>\n<p>The Travel and Tourism profile prepares students for university studies in transportation, hospitality and tourism, as well as geography, marketing and business (note that Mathematics pre-requisites are necessary for university level business studies).<\/p>\n<p>According to the World Tourism Organization, the tourism industry is the world&#8217;s fifth fastest growing industry. \u00a0University level undergraduate programs prepare students for careers in this industry. \u00a0Some examples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Commerce at Ryerson University in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ryerson.ca\/undergraduate\/admission\/programs\/htm.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hospitality and Tourism Management<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tru.ca\/act\/tourism\/programs\/degree.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tourism Management<\/a> at Thompson Rivers University.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Environmental Studies in <a href=\"https:\/\/uwaterloo.ca\/environment-resources-and-sustainability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Environment &amp;
