2020 REGISTRATION
\nIS NOW OPEN!<\/a><\/div>\n

Once again this summer, Dawson College’s Centre for Training & Development (CTD),\u00a0with its F\/Start team, is offering an exciting photography camp for teenagers in Montreal.<\/p>\n

F\/Start offers young Montrealers between the ages of 11 and 16 with a unique summer art camp experience. It is our mission to bring together adolescents to challenge, encourage and motivate them, stimulate their imagination and creativity while maintaining a total commitment to their artistic growth.<\/p>\n

Camp Details<\/h3>\n

The camp is divided into weekly blocks starting with Digital Level 1<\/span> followed by Digital Level 2<\/span>. Weeks 1 and 3 offer the introductory level in digital photography, while week 2 is designed for an intermediate level, (Level 2). Students who attended F\/Start summer photography day camp previously or have equivalent experience may enroll directly in Level 2; they can also take Level 1 if they wish to refresh their digital photography skills. Digital Advanced<\/span> (week 4), offers students who completed levels 1 and 2 an opportunity to learn and practice different photography genres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Camp runs weekly from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, and includes hands-on activities, time in computer labs,\u00a0opportunities to take part in on-site photography\u00a0outings in the Montreal area (e.g., museum visits, park outings, etc.).<\/p>\n

Every Friday at 4:00 p.m. we hold an exhibition\/slideshow of students’ work (family and friends are welcome).<\/p>\n
