Throughout each year of the program you will have the opportunity to complete internships in a variety of social service agencies that are oriented towards effecting social change.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Who are we?<\/h2>\n<p>We are diverse group of experienced social workers who are passionate about teaching and coaching students through the rewards and challenges of working in the human services field.<\/p>\n<p>Students learn in a dynamic classroom environment through group projects, case studies and experiential learning.\u00a0We help students sow the seeds of empathy and build bridges of understandings across societal divisions.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Who should apply?<\/h2>\n<p>We welcome inspired students who are looking to defend human rights, promote social justice and positively change lives.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Career Opportunities<\/h2>\n<p>Social service workers work in agencies maintained by the Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 et des Services sociaux, such as Integrated Health and Social Service Centres (CISSS\/CIUSS), residential care\u00a0and long-term facilities, rehabilitation centres, youth protection agencies,\u00a0 and some hospitals. They also work for the Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Emploi et de la solidarit\u00e9 and for various school boards.
