CAE, headquartered in St-Laurent, is a global leader in training for the civil aviation, defence and security, and healthcare markets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work-integrated learning<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cWe are offering future technicians from various fields to start a career at CAE\u00a0with traineeships providing a work integrated learning experience,\u201d said Mike Mishriky, Senior Manager of Software Engineering at CAE.\u00a0\u201cIt is intended for full-time students registered in technology and aeronautics-oriented programs in six cegeps, including Dawson College.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The six Dawson students selected by CAE over the next three years will each receive:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a $1,000 scholarship<\/li>\n<li>$300 in tuition every semester until program completion<\/li>\n<li>paid internship(s) or summer job(s)<\/li>\n<li>potential on-call contract work during the school year until program completion<\/li>\n<li>potential full-time job offer upon completion of studies<\/li>\n<li>mentoring services to guide students during their participation in the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cCAE is committed to encouraging trainees to complete their studies and accommodating their school schedule,\u201d Mike said. \u201cIn addition, the selection process will consider CAE\u2019s values of diversity and inclusiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Dawson students begin at CAE this summer<\/strong><br \/>\nSeveral students from Dawson have applied for the first two CAE scholarships.
