In addition to her teaching duties, she is involved with Dawson\u2019s Kiuna partnership with C\u00e9gep Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue, the First Nations\u2019 College in Odanak, working with educational staff in the competencies and course frameworks of the Social Science program offered there, as well as student progression, policymaking, faculty and staff hiring, training and teacher support.<\/p>\n<p>She has also been instrumental in developing Dawson\u2019s Model UN team skills for competition, efforts that along with her colleagues Ted Irwin and Chris Bourne have produced impressive results.<\/p>\n<p>Isabelle holds a doctorate from McGill University in History, two Bachelor\u2019s degrees and a Master\u2019s degree from Universit\u00e9 Laval in History and Teaching History for High School.<\/p>\n<p>We know you join us in congratulating her and look forward to working together for the benefit of our students and their educational experience while they are studying at Dawson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the appointment of Isabelle Carrier as Assistant Dean, Social Science and Business Technologies.
