Now it\u2019s off to Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick for the CCAA National Championship March 15-18. The first game on the first day pits the Blues, the #2 ranked team in Canada, against the Capilano Blues of the PACWEST Conference.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The team went undefeated all through the regular season with a 14 and 0 record. The incredible efforts of the team were acknowledged by the RSEQ Conference at the awards ceremony, recognizing the following individuals:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trevor Williams was named RSEQ Conference Coach of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Roxane Makolo was named Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year in the RSEQ Conference<\/li>\n<li>Nelly Owusu, Defensive Player of the Year RSEQ<\/li>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> all-star team: Roxane Makolo and Mackenzie Ash-Smith<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> all-star team: Nelly Owusu and \u00c9l\u00e9anore Marciszewski<\/li>\n<li>Academic merit: Dahom\u00e9e Forgues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the men\u2019s side, the Division 1 basketball team won bronze after being defeated in the semi-finals by Coll\u00e8ge Br\u00e9beuf, but beating Vanier for the medal. The team went 11-5 for a 4<sup>th<\/sup> place league finish in the regular season.
