The Blues 10 day stay in Finland included games against IFK Grankulla junior, Diskos junior and Voiomaan Lukio U 19 team. The Blues record was one win and 2 overtime losses.<\/p>\n<p>During their trip to Finland the team played in Helsinki vs IFK juniors, which resulted in a 3 &#8211; 2 overtime loss.<br \/>\nThey then travelled to Jyvaskyla. The Blues were the first North American team ever to visit and play in Jyvasaklya, a city 4 hours north of Helsinki, were they played in front of 600 spectators in a  6 &#8211; 4 victory against the home town Diskos juniors. The following day they played in front of approximately 1,000 students from the host Voiomaan Lukio school and lost 3-2 in a shootout.<\/p>\n<p>While in Finland, the team visited Helsinki, the Finland Sports museum, the Finnish Olympic Stadium site, the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation site and attended a Finnish Pro Hockey League game.\n<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 408px; height: 219px;\" class=\"\" src=\"\/public\/home\/news\/bluesfinland2.jpg\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"center\"><em>Dawson Blues and Diskos 93 Junior team.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the Holiday break the Dawson Blues played a series of three exhibition games in Finland.
