{"id":5033,"date":"2020-06-16T16:56:58","date_gmt":"2020-06-16T20:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www-chris.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/news\/?post_type=digest&#038;p=5033"},"modified":"2020-06-16T17:23:10","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T21:23:10","slug":"dawson-community-recipes-banana-oat-breakfast-balls","status":"publish","type":"digest","link":"https:\/\/www-chris.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/news\/dnews\/dawson-community-recipes-banana-oat-breakfast-balls\/","title":{"rendered":"Dawson community recipes: Banana Oat Breakfast Balls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Banana Oat Breakfast Balls<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 large, very ripe bananas<\/li>\n<li>4 cups (400 gms) large flake oats (old-fashioned oats), gluten-free if necessary<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup (50 gms) unsweetened shredded coconut<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup (50 gms) ground hazelnuts or almonds or more coconut \u2013 optional<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup (100 gms) mini chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons vanilla<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons cinnamon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, or lightly grease it.<\/p>\n<p>Mash the bananas in a large bowl with a potato masher or a fork.<\/p>\n<p>Add all the other ingredients. and stir well to combine.<\/p>\n<p>Scoop up about 1\u00bd tablespoons dough at time and squeeze it together to make a rough ball.
