The play tells the story of\u00a0 a young man who was an engineering student at \u00c9cole Polytechnique in 1989 and experienced survivor guilt. Through her play, Murphy reveals the ripple effects of public violence and PTSD on the everyday life of a working class family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The presentation of the play, which won the 2007\u00a0Governor General&#8217;s Literary Award for English Language Drama, is meant to\u00a0commemorate the lives lost at \u00c9cole Polytechnique.
