Embodied Intelligence: From Buddha to AI<\/h2>\n\"HPLConference2019\"<\/a>\n

Join us for the annual Humanities and Public Life Conference, which will take place from Monday, September 16 to Friday September, 20, 2019! \u201cEmbodied Intelligence: From Buddha to AI.\u201d The first two days of the\u00a0conference\u00a0will have a special focus on AI, while the final three days will explore the\u00a0nature of intelligence<\/i>\u00a0from a range of disciplinary, cultural,\u00a0and\u00a0intellectual perspectives<\/p>\n

We are thrilled with this year’s line-up of presenters, which\u00a0speak to the\u00a0Humanities\u00a0competencies of critical thinking, world views,\u00a0and\u00a0ethics. You will find presentations given by\u00a0philosophers, economists, medical doctors,\u00a0Indigenous activists, yoga teachers,\u00a0and\u00a0some of the leading thinkers in the field of AI research\u00a0and\u00a0application.<\/p>\n

Talks are open to all students, faculty, and staff at Dawson College as well as to the general public.
