The vision is for the DCF Development Fund to grow, which would give the Foundation\u00a0the\u00a0ability\u00a0to respond to emerging or urgent opportunities requested by the Dawson College community.<\/p>\n<p>Starting\u00a0on July 1, 2020,\u00a010% of\u00a0new\u00a0donations\u00a0and 15% of\u00a0revenue from\u00a0sponsored\u00a0events\u00a0will be dedicated to the DCF Development Fund.\u00a0This date is also used as a reference to grandfather details of\u00a0past pledges, agreements, contributions and sponsorships.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Student Success<\/b><b>\u00a0and Perseverance\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-470 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www-chris.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/dawson-foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/126\/Dawson_1240-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"Dawson_1240\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" \/>\n<p>Dawson students who require additional help benefit from an array of financial aid and learning\u00a0centres. The need to support students with real-life expenses beyond tuition during their times of need is always present. Awards and scholarships recognize excellence and scholarly perseverance.\u00a0\u00a0Moreover, student success and perseverance are linked with the capacity for Dawson College to offer a learning environment to students through extra-curricular projects that are complementing and enriching the regular academic pathways provided through our programs of study and student life activities.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Well-<\/b><b>B<\/b><b>eing for\u00a0<\/b><b>A<\/b><b>ll and Sustainability<\/b><\/h3>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-472 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www-chris.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/dawson-foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/126\/Dawson_butterfly_2018_109-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"Dawson_butterfly_2018_109\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" \/>\n<p>Dawson\u2019s\u00a0leadership in\u00a0sustainability\u00a0and in promoting well-being for all stems largely from student-led\u00a0projects\u00a0and\u00a0innovation.\u00a0Supporting these projects at Dawson gives our donors a chance to make lasting change by equipping our students to make a better world for everyone, sustainably.\u00a0Our\u00a0<i>Living Campus<\/i>\u00a0provides opportunities\u00a0to\u00a0contribute to a healthy\u00a0environment\u00a0and\u00a0a\u00a0peaceful world.\u00a0The College\u2019s commitment\u00a0to be\u00a0Carbon\u00a0Neutral\u00a0Forever\u00a0is just one example of the work being done to advance sustainability.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Innovation and Excellence<\/b><\/h3>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-473 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www-chris.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/dawson-foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/126\/Dawson_2046-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"Dawson_2046\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" \/>\n<p>Traditional ways of accessing knowledge and developing 21st\u00a0century skills are profoundly shifting.
